General Information

Travel

Conference participants are expected to organize their own travel and stay in Copenhagen.

Arriving at the Airport (Lufthavn): The city center is only a 15 minutes ride with the metro - the conference venue is only a 15-minutes metro ride (M1) and 5-minutes walk along Njalsgade (stop: Islands Brygge, coming directly from the airport, change at Christianshavn). see a map of the University here.

Arriving at Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård): The city centre is in walking distance, the conference venue at the University is only a 10-15 minute bus or train ride away. Take bus 5A to Amager Boulevard/Amager Fælledvej and walk from here. Or take Bus 33 from Rådhuspladsen and walk from there. see MAP. Getting to ARKEN Musuem of Modern Art

The conference venue on the 7th of December will be at ARKEN - Museum of Modern Art at the seaside in Ishøj. Please calculate at least 40 minutes to get here and maybe also check your train connections on Rejseplanen.dk in advance. Take the s-train to Ishøj station. Bus 128, going directly to the museum, leaves in front of the station at 8:49 (there's no other bus connection around that time). You can alternatively group and take a taxi (~65DKK) or walk (30min!!). See a map of ARKEN's location. A bus will be leaving ARKEN after the roundtable at 16:56.

Registration

Online registration is now CLOSED: In case of short notice cancellations we will successively contact registered people on the waiting list.

FOR REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS: Please note that in case of short notice cancellations, a refund of the conference fee will only be possible until November 25.

On-site registration opens on Wednesday, 5 December, at 8:00 and on Thursday, 6 December, at 8:30 in the hallway of building 22. see map of University above.

There's a variety of hotels, hostels and excellent private accommodation in Copenhagen.
